I'm confused by this description. Do you mean that the top of the
display window is blank? Are your parallel choices all present? If not
blank, what is there?

I'm wondering if you're seeing an artifact of a slightly different
version of GTK, which I mention because varying GTK releases have
irregularly done damage to our display, especially as it relates to
things like blocked strong's/morph markup. This would be a new instance,
to be sure.

FTR, no, I don't see anything unusual. (Fedora 33.)
