Thank you for the info. I did a search using Synaptic Package Manager on
"perl" and got massive hits. Searching on "perl bindings" returned
fewer, but still numerous hits. I do not know enough to make a choice
and the names did not suggest obvious choices to me.
Is it possible that someone could give me the names of the required
packages for Debian (or Ubuntu, which might be similar)?
