I guess there is a new kind of Mac user: new adopters, the switchers. 
And we are not at all used to it!

Altogether, I find it a bit worrisome. I'm hoping that Java moves 
forward into Snow Leopard. In Leopard they got rid of the Cocoa/Java 
bridge, with an apparent move to make Java less important. I was 
disappointed that Java, a touted core framework of MacOSX, was dropped 
entirely from the iPhone OS. I'm just hoping that it is not a trend.

Yes, that is a good idea. I'll see if it is possible or reasonable. 
Since the first release with a new architecture probably won't add many 
new features, if any, it should be possible. We may be stuck with doing 
bug fixes at the point of the branching. But at least we'll do that.
