I have just now tried to identify the logs which could hold information,
but neither is there a /var/log tomcat, nor does /var/log/httpd contain
tomcat logs, nor are the logs in /opt/tomcat/logs recent (the last entry
is from mid of May).

I guess somewhere there must be a log which tells that a write has
failed and this will tell us more, but so far I have not found it.
