That is a rather disturbing crash. Notice that there is not one function
of Xiphos itself being called, after the initial gui_main() call at the
very bottom, which simply calls gtk_main() to give UI control to gtk.
It's all gtk- and dbus-internal crud.

In all seriousness, raising the context menu is one of those "it has
always worked on all platforms in all contexts" kind of things and I
don't know just now how to analyze such a failure without any further
clues about what part of Xiphos is in question. The menu files
(ui/xi-menus*) are remarkably stable things, providing proper support
for everything from old 2.14 to the most modern 3.20.

Is this another Wayland thing?
