The date of this article causes me to question it, but I don't see any joke
angle that makes sense. Someone on a legitimate biblical translation mail
list posted the headline "Crossway releases ESV into the public domain,"
with a link to this article:

I don't really have the time or energy to chase this, but it's great news
if it's true.

If this IS an 1 April activity, I'd very much like to hear that also.
