Dear Yvand,
This is all very good news. Personally I would keep things simple with
as few modules from the same Bible as possible. Before I do, I'd like to
share with you that I was recently asked to help work on the Segond
Bible on wikisource. (https://fr.wikisource.org/wiki/Bible_Segond_1910)
I think it's a very good place to store the original text, especially as
we benefit from the support of the whole wikisource community, and
what's more we have a tool that makes it easy to download bibles from
wikisource and convert them to usfm or osis. Work carried out by Arnaud
Vié, whom which I've copied. I don't know how useful it will be for you,
but I find it very easy to correct typos on wikisource. So my first
suggestion would be to see if you'd agree to us making it the reference
in terms of source text. There's also the facsimile.
Then for the module, my advice is to leave only one module on either
ebible or crosswire. This avoids unnecessary maintenance. It's true
that working with Michael, who is responsible for ebible, is quite
convenient. He's responsive and updates his bibles automatically. I
think he could give you access to his server via bibledit so that you
could easily get the updates automatically! It's a real convenience for
me as I work on the Crampon.
Finally, would it be possible to have your tools to put strong on the
Crampon? I've already done it, automating the work with Michael's tools.
But it's true that there are errors that need to be corrected, and maybe
yours would be more accurate.
Br Cyrille
