I think it's something that can be done by using an XSLT 
Stylesheet.

XSLT is meant for transforming XML documents (as OSIS) into:
- Another XML document
- Plain text
- HTML
- JSON
- XSL-FO, which may subsequently be converted to other formats, 
  such as PDF, PostScript and PNG.
