One step beyond from DM Smith's response: if you correct the osis2mod statement to output to the rawtext folder, it should conform to naming conventions. You might also have to update the conf file to point to this location. 

That is

 

use this command to create the module:


osis2mod ./modules/texts/rawtext/ts2009/ TS2009Ver100.osis.xml -c ts2009

and modify the appropriate lines in the conf file: 

 

[TS2009]

DataPath=./modules/texts/rawtext/ts2009/

ModDrv=RawText

CompressType=ZIP <--- delete this line if it exists

CipherKey=TS1998 <--- delete this line if you started with the conf file for TS1998. 

 

Note the bracketed first line is the text you should see in front end programs to select the module. Frontend programs do not display the path outside of module management.

The output should be located at ./modules/texts/ztext/ts2009. Those folders should already be there. There should be some kind of failure message if it cannot open the output files for writing. If there are currently files there it should update them.

 

Since you didn’t include any flags for compression, the module that is put there won’t be compressed.

 

osis2mod doesn’t care about the module’s conf. That is supposed to be created based upon how you build the module, i.e. what flags you use for osis2mod. I’m guessing your conf doesn’t match with regard to compression. If that’s the case the module won’t work.

 

Also if you are on a modern version of Windows, you might not have permission to write to c:\Program Files (x86)\CrossWire\The SWORD Project\modules\texts\ztext\ts2009

DataPath=./modules/texts/ztext/ts2009/
