[sword-devel] The OSIS <speaker> element ?

Making a one to one equivalence between USFM marker \sp and OSIS element
<speaker> is a questionable assumption for several reasons.

1. The translator may have used the \sp marker for non-canonical purposes.
2. In such a context, it would be better OSIS practice to use <q
who="speaker">...</q>.
3. Yet unless the SWORD back-end supports the display of the who attribute
values, the translator's requirement that the speaker's name be displayed
would not be met.

I see no way round this impasse.

David
