[sword-devel] mod2zmod

I figured it out, one should have a working module (unencrypted and
uncompressed) with the relevant .conf file.

Then run mod2zmod and then rename or remove the unencrypted and uncompressed
module and that .conf file.

Regards,

Johan

The .conf file looks as follows:

[TS2009]
BlockType=BOOK
Category=Biblical Texts
CipherKey=abc
CompressType=ZIP
DataPath=./modules/texts/ztext/ts2009/
DistributionLicense=Copyrighted; Permission granted to distribute
non-commercially in SWORD format
Encoding=UTF-8
GlobalOptionFilter=OSISFootnotes
GlobalOptionFilter=OSISScripref
LCSH=Bible.English
Lang=en
MinimumVersion=1.5.3
ModDrv=zText
SourceType=OSIS
SwordVersionDate=2002-02-22
Versification=KJV
Version=1.0
(I have taken out the copyright address, copyright notice, etc.)

The command is as follows:
mod2zmod.exe TS2009 .\modules\texts\ztext\ts2009\ 4 2 abc

Please assist.

Johan

Subject: Re: [sword-devel] mod2zmod

I experience problems with 'mod2zmod' for a bible module.

I am using the latest version from Xiphos.

The source .txt plus the 4 files created by 'imp2vs' are in the same folder
as 'mod2zmod'.

I am using the correct syntax, but it says "No entry in module". Six files
are created in the output folder though. When I open the module in Xiphos or
The SWORD project, it is empty. My questions are the following:

1) What needed to be in place / to be done before running 'mod2zmod', e.g.
do I need to run 'imp2vs' first?

2) What is the source of 'mod2zmod' as it only refers to the [ModuleName],
is it the 4 files created by 'imp2vs' or the source text file?

When I right click in the module in Xiphos, it does show the "About" details
as per the .conf file.

Thank you, any help is appreciated.
