Reminder:

And Bible for Android OS devices can make use of the Android TTS Engine,
assuming your device came with one. Look for the Read Aloud feature.

Ivona is a third party TTS app and voice provider, with voices for several
languages.

I guess that you should be able to switch from the Google TTS to Ivona, 
though I can't vouch for this, as my Android tablet came without a TTS
(due to lack of a particular licensing agreement between 
Storage Options and Google to use this OEM build option).
