Unless there are a great many such images, and they are very, very large
indeed, you will do better just to make them part of the module content.
By convention, this is done under an images/ directory.

There are some impressively large modules out there; see especially
Xiphos repo's Images and Maps categories.  If you use Xiphos itself, its
module manager will show you approximate module sizes.
