Good morning and thank you for the updated Xiphos.

>From my side the one issue when Hebrew letters appear at the beginning of a verse is resolved and a big thank you for that.

Xiphos is my first choice bible study program!

Hey Karl and the Xiphos team,

Congratulations on the 3.1.5 release! This is great!

If you need any help with av11n, please don't hesitate to ask. I went through the pains of doing this for The SWORD Project for Windows.

Not wishing to hijack a thread too far, but this reminds me that I don't think the final result of those changes was ever released (and certainly 1.5.11 is listed as the latest on the website). As you doubtless know, I'm not a strong fan of SWORD for Windows, but it seems to me if that's the best version it should be released. Is there anything in particular holding it up?

After entirely too long a delay, we have finally released Xiphos 3.1.5.

Windows users can get the installer immediately:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnomesword/files/Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5-win32.exe/download
Or get the source tarball:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnomesword/files/Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5.tar.gz/download
Or get it from SVN:
svn co https://gnomesword.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gnomesword/branches/webkit

Building against latest Sword SVN is straightforward.
Building against not-the-latest requires that you add
-DNO_SWORD_SET_RENDER_NOTE_NUMBERS=1.

Comments and bug reports welcome.

Next task: av11n. Soon. Very soon.
