Basically I do what you have done - work my way through versifications and try and find the best. At the moment there is no other way.

If you think you have hit a Bible which is diverging significantly from all we have so far you can create a new headerfile and submit it to libsword. If there is sufficuent importance to it - several bibles of that kind, important texts - it will join the fold.
