Many Bibles (ESV and DM's beta NASB, as well as some privately produced
modules I've got) also have internal xrefs.
But for the non-Bible case (which may be something other than a
commentary -- I have lexdicts and genbooks using scripRef), I suggest
xref'ing back to the most-recently-used Bible module, since that would
represent a reasonable idea of what version the user likes. Perhaps
initialize that from KJV, if the first-ever xref used is from a
commentary. Even that is ethnocentric, but it is so unlikely as to be
inconsequential.
