Do any of the front-ends have a well-defined method for specifying
images and their source URI's? I remember running into a problem in
BibleTime and Gnomesword a few years ago when trying to include images
in a module and there was no method of specifying a source directory.
It could probably be included in the module's config file, but it
would require support by either the engine, the front ends or both.
I think that the effort is very worthwhile and could lead to use of
the Sword Project for containing sign language translations and other
alternative translations, as well as generally enhance the types of
General Books which could be supported by the Sword Project.
