I got exactly the same problem as Lynn, using the Windows port of GnuC++ 
under DevC++ ver. 3.4.2 mingw.  I wonder if Greg's build is being made 
with the old version of GnuC - the latest one is far more strict in its 
syntax.  I haven't got to the link to work yet ......   I'll try a bit 
more later.
