[sword-devel] Current SVN woes

The latest CVS version of gnomesword relies on osisosis.h which
doesn't exist in my SWORD 1.5.7 installed from RPM, so I set
about building a refreshed RPM from current SVN SWORD.
Unfortunately, make dist fails with:
[...]
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/andyp/devt/sword/test/sword/utilities'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target
`../utilities/bcppmake/thml2gbs.bpf', needed by `distdir'.
Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/andyp/devt/sword/test/sword/utilities'
make: *** [distdir] Error 1
I managed to hack together a tarball by wholesale copying of
various subdirectories such as utilities, icu etc..
Unfortunately, when I come to build the RPM I still have
problems:
[...]
/usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ../include/swinstallmgr.h
/var/tmp/sword-root/usr/include/sword/swinstallmgr.h
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/sword-1.5.8/lib'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/sword-1.5.8/lib'
Making install in .
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/sword-1.5.8'
/bin/sh: line 1: /var/tmp/sword-root/etc/sword.conf: No such
file or directory
make[2]: *** [sword.conf] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/sword-1.5.8'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/sword-1.5.8'
make: *** [install-strip] Error 2
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.66719 (%install)
I could do an install from source, and at this rate I almost
certainly will; but wanted to avoid that if at all possible.
Any ETA on a possible 1.5.8 release?
