I'd like to correct you and point you to the Biblestudy project. The main
info is at www.whensdinner.com with links from www.crosswire.org. It uses
wxwindows and just celebrated its 1.0 release. It currently is known to
compile on Linux, cygwin, mingw (msys) and visual C++. I personally
recommend mingw over cygwin. It is a little more difficult to set up, but
seems to work a little better in the average case.
