[sword-devel] Bible Web Interface

As far as the Get syntax, it makes sense.
My question about GenBooks is in relation to reading stuff from ones like 1
Enoch and other similar ones, if it would help I will give suggestions for
all of the GenBooks that I use on my computer and in my studies.
My Desire for installing in on another system specifically is so that I can
have it located also near my database server on the internet for quick time
between the user and the server, possibly. Maybe at least then I will be
able to install it on a computer that is near me so that when I am using it,
I can have it referenced by the database which is on a website.
I know you said that I could customize the layout of the viewing
environment. What I am also curious about is related to whether or not it
will retrieve multiple verses that are not the same and that are not in a
single section of the Bible? I would love to help test it whenever it is at
that point.

Essentially (so far) the basic syntax is
http://www.crosswire.org/sword/biblenew/passagestudy.jsp?key=<verseref>&mod=
<module>
That's if you want to link to a specific verse of a specific module, but
uses a session, so you don't need to specify things that don't change.
For example, once I'm at a verse, I can go to another verse in the same
module by simple loading another key.

Commentaries work currently. LD & GenBook modules do not, but they will
eventually.
I think we're quite open to suggestions for what a GenBook interface ought
to look like.

I suppose, but it depends on what you mean. Installing on other webservers
won't be a problem. Installing on a home PC for off-line use
will certainly be possible, if you're willing to install Tomcat. Using it
like the command-line interface to Diatheke won't be possible--that's what
Diatheke's for.
