Hi, Chris
I tried running the text through again--same set of error messages (scores of lines of "problem" running down the screen).
I could send you the text I had prepared, and let you, or whoever is interested, have a look at it and tell me what I might be doing wrong (if there is a problem in the text itself).
Alternatively, the JB2000 is already available through the OpenBible program. I think I remember seeing something on the developer's page about a utility set up to convert their modules to SWORD modules. That may be another route to take (and I have the OpenBible installed on my Computer, with the JB2000 module also installed for purposes of transferring it over to SWORD, and getting some practice with the Luther 1545 and Zürcher 1531 modules I hope to have completed sometime).
I'll be forwarding an email from Russell Stendal giving permission to use the text for the SWORD project.

By "headers" do you mean verse references, as in "Gen 1:1 <some text>"?
If so, you'll want to use something like, "./vpl2mod jb2000.txt ./ 0
0" as your command line.
