Where did the text come from, and (more importantly) do we have

By "headers" do you mean verse references, as in "Gen 1:1 <some text>"?
If so, you'll want to use something like, "./vpl2mod jb2000.txt ./ 0
0" as your command line.

I assume you already know of the tutorial at

doesn't specifically cover your case well. We appreciate your work
creating and testing the module yourself before submitting it for
posting, but if you do decide to submit it, we would appreciate the
source form as well.
