why not do it like qt or mysql then? Simply dual license your code. You have 
the right to do that since you are the one who wrote it. You simply gpl the 
version that works with sword and leave all the other ones alone. That way 
you have the mpl for your other works and are free to do as you please and 
you can still distribute the gpl version with biblecs (win32 sword front 
end).

I mean if all you want is to distribute it. Then simply keep the other parts 
of code out of your other releases. It will mean you will have to, to a 
degree, fork your own project but from the sounds of it you do that on a case 
by case basis anyway. I'm sure you would have separate versions for instance 
logos and quickverse( I dont really know any others) since those companies 
may require you to do it that way.
