Yes. Though I must say the group is much more varied and, if you will forgive 
the wording, open minded than I expected.

AmphetaDesk. It's a desktop news agrigator. http://www.disobey.com/amphetadesk 
It's written as a perl script for linux and with a stand alone windows and 
mac version.

Hmmmm..... I'll look into pluging that in to ampheta desk. Eventually It'll 
make the chanel list.

I don't either but I'm sure it isn't that hard to do. And I think the 
bibletime site is php (and if it's not it should be ^_~) so that one's 
covered. I know little to nothing of the gnome sword page or even if they 
have a news section.
