While the scriptures indicate that God owns everything.  It also indicates
personal property.  Otherwise how could one steal?

Paying taxes is also an implied admission that the government does not own
everything.

It was considered wicked for one to give his property to the King.  See King
Ahab and the Jezreelite with the vinyard.
