Th emphasize this, perhaps the two surfaces should be curved slightly to
show the open book.

This explains the "flatness" of the "keyboard"...

Perhaps adding some curve to the pages, and adding a mirror behind to show
the cover with an ornate cross...

Again, nice concept, and it becomes better after understanding the fact
that the laptop is a book.
