If you can bring yourself to use Python instead of Pascal, 
boa-constructor (.sourceforge.net) may be similar enough in operation to 
Delphi for you, and the results of your efforts would be instantly 
useable on Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, BeOS etc as well as Windows. I 
cannot use Windows for security and reliability reasons.
