Patrick,
I suspect that this was related to the following presented as a part of
the "best practice" session:
Overlapping alternant containers
Major case: For cases where there are two versification schemes AND the
verse start and end points are NOT aligned is the best practice to use
two "sets" of verse milestones? If so are we saying that they should be
differentiated by the "work" prefix of the values within the osisID?
"Normal Case"
<p><verse sID="A" osisID="Ps.1.1 h:Ps.1.2"/>text text text text text
text <verse eID="A"/><verse sID="B" osisID="Ps.1.2 h:Ps.1.3"/>text text
text text<verse eID="B"/></p>.
...
"Non-aligning Case"
<p><verse sID="A" osisID="Ps.1.1"/>text text <verse eID="0"/><verse
sID="1" osisID="h:Ps.1.1"/>text text <verse eID="1"/><verse sID="2"
osisID="h:Ps.1.2"/>text text <verse eID="A"/><verse sID="B"
osisID="Ps.1.2"/>text text <verse eID="2"/><verse sID="3"
osisID="h:Ps.1.3"/><verse eID="1"/>text text<verse eID="B"/></p>.
We agreed that these cases were both correct but added (as reflected by
your note) that verse and chapters from an individual reference system
should not overlap itself.
