Defining sounds good, but without requiring x- values for other types.  We 
should at least have best practice note in the manual.

Works for me.

I should point out here the important distinction between LCCN and LC Call
Numbers.  "LCCN" is really the abbreviation for Library of Congress
Control Numbers, not Call Numbers--a mistake many people (frequently
including me) make.  I don't know that "LCCall" is be best type for LC
Call Numbers--I just made that one up.
