I guess the direction this could travel on the whole is to use this as a way of tagging a whole module in a useful way and making it easier to find a module, once one has 100s.

1) hard coded "feature" tags, coming along with the module, 

2) user defined tags

the combination of which can allow a user with many, many (think e-sword/logos/STEP/USLC proportions of 'many') modules make it easier to organise and search their modules for the one which will assist them now more. Or, search a download site to choose a module for downloading.
