Yes exactly like your point of view.

Yesterday, I have been explaining to them regarding that matter
(pirated/copy-paste) is suppose to be totally different in the digital
world vs physical world (books as paper).

In physical world (book as paper) it is indeed a high effort in term
of effort/machine/labor and fund to produce things, but in digital
world it is basically effortless and minimal/zero cost to duplicate
things. I believe they need to adjust their point of view in this
digital world regarding that matters as it allows them to see things
differently and maybe create distritution policies which suit better
in the digital world.

Especially in their area (bible translation), it is very easy to
reproduce their works in digital format. The whole bible is only
contains 66 books + deutero and once someone create the duplicate copy
by copy-paste into plain text format. The control regarding this
matter will become imposible. The plain text version is mostly at <
5Mb zipped / compressed and with widespread use of Internet, this will
become imposible to stop/control/etc
