I am working on this. The problem is that the beta modules are causing 
problems with unexpected keys and values.

I'll look into this to see if I added the German translation.

That's the theory.

But if you have ever saved options, then it is set in 
~/Library/Application Support/JSword/desktop.properties.

Look in there for Application.Language=en. (You can delete the line.)
