Indeed. For this the current setup is ideal.

For distribution of a functioning-out-of-the-box in the correct language
though my suggestions has some merits.

I can see the various arguments and simply felt I should raise the
subject to get other input. In our own church (largely Iranian migrants)
the parents are often more comfortable in their mother tongue while the
kids will speak it, but prefer English. But in one of the regions we
want to distribute the programme a single language Farsi set-up without
any ability to mess it up would have its clear benefits too.

Wrt locales resulting in auomatic correct choice of language - maybe my
problem is that I have note yet seen a computer with a correctly set up
Iranian locale in anyone's house. Usually a mess. With resultant mess
when applications choose their own settings - but maybe this is the
situation here as immigrants dt people choosing various places in
between here and there for their computers. Don't know. Some thinking
required.

In the meantime, DM, could we create a build at next release time which
automagically starts up in Farsi as the default? Irrespective of the
tricky questions I raised above? This would be wonderful.

Peter
