I see you are running Linux. Out of curiosity, which distribution. (I have FC3 installed, but I use WinXP for the most part)
I run XP, SuSE, Solaris10, RedHat, Mandrake, Yoper(New Zealand flavour linux) and FreeBSD I'm trying to get experience with all OS's but tend to find that the more I use open source OS's the more I try to spend less
time in a Windows environment(unless I absolutely have to). I'm hoping to do the lpi exams which focus on
the non-distribution specific core of linux systems and so try to vary my use of distributions. SuSE is
probably the one I've used the most. Haven't tried Debain yet. I've got FC3 from a mag distro but don't have
any hard drives spare to try it out. I should imagine it's similar to the RedHat 10 I have. I haven't got
Solaris on-line yet but stumbled across a FAQ which explains how to do it. Good move for SUN going open source
and the Java project has certainly been a triumph. Not bad for a washing machine processor language. I'm near
Stanstead (about half way between Cambridge and London in England). Where are you guys from? I saw some
to Cambridge in the mailings.
