I have mixed feelings about their use in an end-user product, but they
are very useful now.
Looking at the HTML view I'm getting the feeling that something was very
broken with how I was configuring JTextPane in the past - I used to get
HTML out of there and not plain text, and all the hacks I had to put
into the xsl to make the display not contain loads of / characters I can
just delete now.
I don't know what got fixed, but I'm not feeling the need to swap to a
new HTML viewer with the urgency that I was.
