Maybe there could be some command line option or some instalation script
which asks about that.
Or some configuration file in the same directory as jsword. I had a problem
with this too and JSword kept on trying this DOSlike path in Options even
after I checked the conf files around.

usual places are
system dir:
/usr/share/sword or
/usr/local/share/sword
user dir:
~/.sword
