Just to clarify what Troy is saying here in relation to how Strong's
numbers work: Strong's numbers generally mark a single lemma, a base form.  
So in Hebrew, the words for "beginning", "the beginning", "in the
beginning of", "in the beginning", and many others would all be marked
with the same Strong's number.

You can see on the entry for H7225 that it lacks the Beth- 'in/at-' that
is part of the form occurring here in Gen 1.1.

(As an aside, the translation--that is the KJV itself, not the way the
OSIS form marks it--is actually quite incorrect here.  The phrase is in
construct, so "When [he] began to ..." or "In/at [his] beginning to ..."
would be better translationa.  You'd think with all their inerrancy, the
KJV translators would have at least rendered the first phrase correctly.
