Quick reply without looking at the files:

I think 1 index is kindof like RawVerse driver .vss index, except 
instead of giving you the offset,size of the verse in the datafile, it 
gives you the compressed block,entry,size.  Then the other index gives 
you the compressed block offset,size into the datafile.  Actually, that 
may be zld.  Ugh.  I'm old and forgetful.
