Joe,
I'd be glad to help. Swing happens to be in my area of interest. I have
developed a number of Swing GUI programs and hopefully I can use this
experience for this project.
I've visited the sites that you and Daniel referred to and now have some
idea about JSword progress.
Could you give me some help in starting to get involved?
I tried to cvs login yesterday but the access was rejected. I used cvs on
Windows to login to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.crosswire.org:/cvs/jsword as
directed by jsword dev page. Do I need to have some sort of authorisation
on the server side before I can access it?

Hi,
My normal answer is "whatever you you are most interested in, but if you
need suggestions the Swing GUI is most in need of an owner".
We are about to start doing more work on the GUI to support the new
support for commentaries, dictionaries, and OSIS texts.
There is a web page at http://www.crosswire.org/jsword/devt.jsp that
says more.
Joe.
