I've just noticed that the .xsl file contributed by Eric includes a 
v1.1.1 which goes some way to answering the questions about 
commonAttributes and globalAttributes, to replace them with questions 
about globalWithType and globalWithoutType!
It there an offical place to get up to date schema?
