Ahhh . . . was just looking at WebStart and thinking of the web delivered
applications (applets on steroids?) that I have worked on that would work
nicely in that environment.  I like it very much.

I am starting from a clean slate with ant.  I will remove what I have and
try the build again.

JNLP is the Java Network Launching Protocol. - Java WebStart is the
reference implementation - if you've used that, you've used JNLP.

Otherwise, take a look at http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/ and
check out some of the demos.
