Initial Comment:
Running Mepis Linux 3.3.1 fully updated. Removed all
Sword files with Synaptic, compiled Sword 1.5.8 with no
problems, compiled BibleTime 1.5rc1 with no problems.
BibleTime runs and Bibles and other text display with
no problems. However, the Search menu item drops down a
blank menu when clicked. Search worked fine when I
added its icon to the toolbar, but the menu item still
drops down nothing. Wil try it on my other systems.

Long time user here - new version looks good!

I think I found the problem. The fix will be in 1.5.

Deleted the .rc file. No change.

Noticed the individual searches and the ability to search in
the standard Bible (if the latter was there before, I missed
it). Very nice.

Have found a couple other issues I will file later - go to
go to church right now!

Hi,
thank you for your report.
Can you remove the file
"$HOME/.kde/share/apps/bibletime/bibletimeui.rc" and restart
BibleTime? Does the search appear now?
BTW, each text window now has it's own search button,
