Initial Comment:
Click Settings|Configure Toolbars. Add "Search in
standard Bible" to Current Actions. Click Apply and OK.
Main Toolbar disappears. Quit program, restart. Main
toolbar is in place with Search added.

Hi,
thanks for the report. 

The toolbar get embedded into a text window. Sadly, that's a
KDE bug we can't fix. Maybe we can find a workaround.
