Summary: Import of works in not-yet-defined-languages
Initial Comment:
Trying to Bibledit-Sword-export my own language project
to Sword to import it into BibleTime, I could define a
new language (e.g. Djimini).
But in BibleTime this language was not recognized but
put into the category: Unknown language. I have the
following problems with this:
- For this language no font can be defined, it's
category does not show up under BT / Menu / Settings /
Configure BibelTime / Languages / Select custom font
per language
-> Allow new languages to be imported in BibleTime

Hi Wolfgang. The module files only contain a language abbreviation, like
"en" for English. BibleTime therefore cannot know what unknown language
abbrevs really point to. It is now possible to set a font even for unknown
languages, that is all we can offer. We cannot guess their real name.

Trying this out in BT 1.6.2 with Sword-exports of Bibledit = BE 2.2.17:
Although there are problems with the bible-text of the export (at the
moment it gets lost)
- English and French exported projects show up under languages
English/French
- A project with the language name Djimini (recognized in BE) still shows
up under the category Unknown language (in the bookshelf).
Checking in BT Menu / Settings / Configure BibleTime / Languages, the
language Djimini does not show up.

Wolfgang, I believe this is fixed in BibleTime 1.6.1. Please check and
close.

I checked for this in BT 1.6beta3 (installed 2006-8-17) and
could not find this.
So I suppose that is will come in BT 1.6beta4.

Unknown languages are handled by their abbreviation (en,
de,...).
The language group in the bookshelf is e.g. "Bibles - en" if
en would be the unknown language.
In the font settings en is also in the list for this
example, look at the end of it.
A recent bugfix (today) now applies the chosen font for
unknown languages. A BT restart is required atm, though.

Idea: In the bookshelf/bookmarks, there is the right-click
option: Create a new folder.
This option is not available (greyed out) for bibles.
-> What about to allow to create new folders for bibles with
the name of the language, in which a bible is exported?
