You do not need kdevelop unless you are going to be coding, but if you want to 
try it, just open it and open the existing project.  The file holding the 
project data is bibletime.kdevprj (this is not really part of the source, it 
just holds information from the last developer that uploaded this file to the 
cvs. )

I have found cervisa to be useful for uploading and downloading the cvs, but 
command line works OK also.

ktranslate is useful when working with .pot files to translate to a new 
language.  A rough translation can be generated by making a local translation 
database for (for example) the ukrainian language .po files on the kde.i18n 
translation database.  .po files from prevous versions of bibletime hould be 
used by themselves in the translation data base first as this should pull in 
all tanslated phrases that were not changed.

If you are interested in translating, uou will want to look at the .pot files 
in the /docs and the /pot folders.
