We have an abundance of applications, available to support you in your Bible studies on many different platforms. Several of these applications are cross platform. All applications in this section use the same module library and most store their library in the same place on your computer. All are based on The SWORD Project. You can therefore try several and see which one you end up liking best:

Xiphos

FireBible - A Bible study add-on for Firefox / FireBible for Firefox

FireBible logo FireBible is a Firefox add-on for Bible study on Windows and Linux. The FireBible toolbar allows you to easily load multiple Bibles for side by side comparison, and Strong's numbers, word morphology, crossreferences/footnotes and commentaries are supported. Its Ubiquity integration can be used for fast verse lookup, across multiple Bibles. FireBible also supports general book, dictionary, map and daily devotional modules. It adds the bible:// and sword:// protocols to Firefox so your Bible study experience is as easy as surfing the net; content is loaded in tabs alongside regular browser tabs but it works even when offline.
