Bible Study Software
We have an abundance of applications, available to support you in your Bible studies on many different platforms. Several of these applications are cross platform. All applications in this section use the same module library and most store their library in the same place on your computer. All are based on The SWORD Project. You can therefore try several and see which one you end up liking best:

BibleDesktop is a powerful Bible study application based on Java
technology with a unique layout. BibeDesktop lets you study several
translations and commentaries in parallel and without artificial
chapter/passage length limitations. The search facility is fast and
powerful. Translated into English, German, Chinese and Farsi.

Ezra Bible App
Ezra Bible App is a user-friendly bible study tool focussing on topical study based on keywords/tags.
This program can help you to easily manage your topical verse lists and verse-based notes. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.

AlKitab for Java
Alkitab Bible Study is an open source and free desktop bible study
software. It supports single/parallel view, commentaries, lexicons,
dictionaries, glossaries, daily devotions, etc. It also comes with
powerful search capability. It features rich and user friendly bible
software study tools. Alkitab is translated into English and
Indonesian.

FireBible - A Bible study add-on for Firefox / FireBible for Firefox
FireBible is a Firefox add-on for Bible study on Windows and Linux. The FireBible toolbar allows you to easily load multiple Bibles for side by side comparison, and Strong's numbers, word morphology, crossreferences/footnotes and commentaries are supported. Its Ubiquity integration can be used for fast verse lookup, across multiple Bibles. FireBible also supports general book, dictionary, map and daily devotional modules. It adds the bible:// and sword:// protocols to Firefox so your Bible study experience is as easy as surfing the net; content is loaded in tabs alongside regular browser tabs but it works even when offline.
