Apologies forĀ not seeing this sooner; some
email from crosswire.org lists does not reach me for unknown
reason, it seems my mail host (zoho.com) considers it a bad
source, but not for everyone, just some individual sources in the
lists. I really don't understand. But this was from last month,
which I found from the list archive.
The problem I have is that the entire structure of Xiphos, since
its very earliest days 25 years ago, was based on single-chapter
display. I honestly have no idea how I would enhance that without
destroying several of its semantic implications (follow what it
would mean in synchronized external parallel) and without having
to replace literally all the display guts.
I know this isn't the devel list, but my usual response on this
sort of thing is, "Somebody write some code, we'll review the
result together, then we'll include whatever we can mutually agree
on." And that's because I don't know how this would be done in
Xiphos.
