We're at 1.7.902 (i.e. 1.8 RC2) which I am sure uses an updated Cordova libsword plugin which likely fixes the search bug you're seeing. However, I now find that KJV (alone) gets successful searches.<br>
No joy out of BSB, ESV, NASB, or any of my own (ThML) Bible
modules.<br>

I hadn't noticed success with KJV until now because I hardly ever
touch it.<br>

In any event, for any Bible except KJV, type a word or three, hit
"go."<br>
Bishop displays a green progress bar that gets to somewhere
between 50% and 75% and then exits/crashes.</font>
